Now you can travel from Havanna in the east through cowboy-land, orange fields, sugar-cane fields as long as the eye can reach. Along the north and south coast. Experience Castros unique blend of socialism and salsa - before its to late! Havanna, one of the most seducing cities in the world is waiting for you - the tropical beaches, green mountains, historical cities and the very accommodating local population. The trip unites the funniest motorcycle-roads with nice hotels, the beautiful beaches and Cubas culture and society - guided by Soren Vestergaard which has travelled Cuba several times on motorbike and knows the country very well. We arrange for your own motorbike to be ready in Havanna. All types of motorbikes are welcome. Or rent a bike/car from us.
In all about 3000 km, 200-300 km per day. The roads are wide and paved, but in bad shape. Very little and slow trafic.
We stay two nights most places. Have a resting day or go along on the day tour.

Your motorbike will be sailed in a container from Denmark 6-8 weeks before your departure and return to Denmark about 6 weeks after you coming home. Fright, liability insurance and cuban registration is included in the cost of the trip. No Danish registration is necessary. An information meeting is held where a map of Cuba and a Moto Mundo Cuba t-shirt will be given out.Lunch included.
Denmark - CubaTake off from Copenhagen or Billund flying to Havanna passing through Paris or Amsterdam. We are received in the airport by our cuban guide and together we travel to our hotel.
Hello motorbikes and HavannaThe motorbikes will be registered with Cuban number-plates and after this we go on the first ride in Havana. Guided walk in "Old Havanna".
HavanaAll day to spend in Havana, looking around.There will be a possibility to visit the world famous Cabaret Tropicana at night.
Havana - Matanzas km 130A short drive today to Matanzas. During we will visit Hemingway's house which is now used as a museum and are left completely as the day in 1960 when he left Cuba. The house is placed in the outskirts of Havana.
Matanzas - Santa Clara km 200Today we drive towards Santa Clara, we follow the old two track highway, Carretera Central. The part we pass through is the spine in Cuban farming. Fruit plantations, rice fields, vegetables and enormous cattle farms fills the landscape.
Santa ClaraThe day is free to spend as you like, but it will most certainly be a day of Che. Santa Clara is Che Guevara's city. A very exciting and alive city. In this city we will stay at private homes.Visiting cigar factory.
Santa Clara - Carmagüey km 290We have to travel further now and today we will travel the longest distance which is why we start by driving by the 8-track highway as long as it will take us. We are going to Camagüey which with its 280000 citizens is Cuba's third largest city, founded in 1514.
CamagüeyThis day is free to spend as you like, watch the historic city or join us for a small trip. For those that want this we take a trip to Playa coco at the Northcoast. Total bout 220km.
Camagüey Mayajigua km 250The day today brings us to the north coast. We drive on the smaller roads towards Moron. After lunch by a exciting Laguna the trip continues towards our next hotel. The hotel is placed by the road between Mayajigua and Jaguajay, here small houses are placed between the big palms and animals. Bar by the swimming-pool and thermal-baths.
Mayajigua - Trinidad km 150Today's trip takes us from the north coast to Trinidad on the south coast. We cross the highway at Sancti Spiritus and here we stop for lunch before travelling the last 75km to Trinidad.
TrinidadThis day is free to spend as you want but with a possibility to swim with dolphins. Trinidad is a very old and handsomely-unspoiled colony town, it is on Unesco's world heritage list. Music and dance on the town square in the evening.
TrinidadThe day is free to spend how ever you wish, but there is a possibility to go for a drive to the mountains and rainforest, up to the Hanabanilla lake. Or you could take a nice cooling swim by La Boca outside Trinidad.
Trinidad - Varadero km 330Another lovely long drive awaits us. We are going back towards Havana but only to Varadero. Again we drive across Cuba, through lovely varying scenery. During our trip we visit a Crocodile farm and have lunch.
Varadero is known by most charter-tourists, here you find some of the best bathing-beaches in Cuba.
VaraderoA totally relaxing day at the beach, a day for basking in the sun. All inclusive hotel.
Varadero - Soroa km 250At noon we travel via small roads through little sleepy province towns, south around Havana. An exciting day in an area where tourists normally do not come, in this area we meet contrasts to the Varadero which we have just left. Authentic Cuba
VinalesFor those participants that do not wish to lie by the pool all day awaits a wonderful trip in "Parque Nacional de Vinales". We visit among other things "Cueva del Indio" where we follow a tortuous limestone-tunnel down to a underground river. We will sail by boat out again.
Soroa - Maria la Gorda km 235We travel further towards west through the Pinal del Rio province to Cuba's west-most point. Our hotel are placed in on the beach, which is why this is a sought after divers-paradise.
Maria la GordaRelaxing, enjoying the fantastic water. In the afternoon we go for a drive (2 x 80km) where we among other things visit a lighthouse and a marina. This marina is the western-most point in Cuba. At this place, Cabo de San Antonio, they allegedly make the best Mohito in Cuba. In the area we travel through there live many iguanas so you have rich opportunities for seeing one.
Maria la Gorda - Havana km 310Today we drive back to Havana through tobacco fields. We have our lunch in Pinar del Rio. At night we are picked up in old American cars and driven to the other side of the Havana harbour entrance. At the El Morro fort the sun is shot down every night.
Havana - Mariel km 60In the morning we drive out and pack the motorbikes in the container. Farewell dinner in the evening.
HavanaThe day is free to spend how ever you wish. All those things you didn't have time to do yesterday, buy the last souvenirs or take a walk along the Malecon. By bus to the airport.
Cuba - Denmark km ca. 8500We land in Paris/Amsterdam after more about 8 hours flight. From here we continue by plane to Copenhagen or Billund.
